Fiery Tofu Stir-Fry

it works: Hot sauce adds complexity to a quick, veggie‐packed dinner.

Ingredients

  • 14 oz extra‐firm tofu, pressed & cubed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. Marinate tofu: Toss tofu cubes with soy sauce and hot sauce for 10 min.
  2. Sear tofu: Heat sesame oil in a wok, brown tofu on all sides, remove.
  3. Sauté veggies: Add garlic, ginger, and veggies; cook 4–5 min.
  4. Combine: Return tofu, stir to coat, and serve over rice or noodles.
