Hot Sauce–Honey Glazed Carrots

Why it works: Sweet carrots balance the bright heat of hot sauce for a side that’s anything but ordinary.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb carrots, peeled & cut into sticks
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1–2 tsp Wiri Fire Hot Sauce (to taste)
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Blanch: Boil carrots 4 minutes, drain.
  2. Glaze: Melt butter and honey in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add heat: Stir in hot sauce until combined.
  4. Toss & finish: Add carrots, toss to coat, season, and cook 2–3 min until glazed.
